DAKOTA OCEAN CHARTERS
Captain Cory Loos has been spending his summers in Homer since 2009, becoming a permanent Alaskan resident in 2016. He has been a charter boat captain since 2012. As a young avid outdoorsman, Cory enjoys every day he can fish and hunt. He has a 100-ton master USCG license that he obtained mostly from fishing in Cook Inlet. Cory has learned lots of tricks of the trade to be successful in Alaska’s waters. He prides himself on clients catching the hard-fighting king salmon but also enjoys the thrill of bottom fishing for tasty halibut, rockfish and lingcod.
